We have invested in three systems to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in the clinic - radiography, ultrasonography, and endoscopy.
Our digital radiography unit & software was upgraded in 2022. We use this outstanding equipment daily to obtain high quality x-rays, and refer these images frequently to veterinary radiologists when needed. We are also able to show you these images digitally in the consultation rooms.
Radiograph of a dog: pelvis / hips & stifles / knees
Radiograph of a dog: forelimbs
Radiograph of a dog: thorax / chest, showing the heart & lungs
Our ultrasonography unit was upgraded in 2020 - we have an excellent machine that allows us to get images of internal organs. Within the veterinary team we have advanced ultrasonography skills in abdominal imaging, and we can also perform basic cardiac (heart) ultrasounds in the clinic.

Ultrasound image of an abdominal mass
Ultrasound image of the heart - measuring it's contraction.
Ultrasound image of a puppy inside the mother's uterus - measuring head size.
We have an endoscopy unit that allows us to place a camera into gastrointestinal tracts - to evaluate an animal's oesophagus, stomach or intestines. This can allow us to retrieve swallowed objects without surgery - such as removing the fish hook stuck in a dog's stomach in the video below.
